How did it happen? A lot of it comes down to Product-Market Fit, but it’s more than that. The truth is, nobody is going to buy something from you the first time they hear about it.
Here’s what I would recommend to anyone to build a KILLER affiliate program:
✅ Product-Market Fit is paramount. You’ve probably heard me say it a few times but I really can’t stress it enough.
✅ Starting with above market commissions is a great starting point and helps generate excitement for the brand.
✅ Create a two-tier affiliate program. It’s all about who you know, but also, who your friends know and are referring to you.
✅ Show them the money! Show them how profits can be made as quickly as possible.
✅ Send gifts for people who refer business to you. It’s not mandatory, but making someone feel special is always a nice touch that goes a long way.
